"Angieszka Maciejewska was my favorite singer in Amelia. She's a very well trained spinto soprano with an excellent high voice. I wish her a great career …"

(Nasza Gazeta, Szczecin, May 02, 2002)

"Almost every aria and scene were cheered with applause. The biggest applause was received by the cast who played the main roles. Agnieszka Maciejewska - Amelia, dignified and with a beautiful soprano, lead the audience into her tragic role".

(Glos Szczeciński, April 29, 2002)

"The public received the Friday premiere of Giuseppe Verdi's "Un ballo di maschera" in the Castle Opera in Szczecin with applause.
The audience applauded the different arias, especially Mikołaj Zalasinski (baritone) who was the main character who played the count Rene Anckarstrom and Agnieszka Maciejewska (soprano) who was the count's wife who fell in love with Gustav III, the king of Sweden, terribly but with return. Angieszka Maciejewska sang this aria in act III beautifully".

(Kurier Szczeciński #83, April 29, 2002)

"Asides from the parts of "Don Carlos" and "Nabucco" sang by Mikołaj Zalasinski, two famous arias sang by Agnieszka Maciejewska resounded in "Aida". This gifted singer did a splendid job playing "Ritorna vincitor". She interpreted the text with feeling, differentiating the dynamics and the tone of voice. Even though, it is too early for Angieszka Maciejewska to sing "Aida", she was able to maintain a stylistic unity between the flow of the phrases, the dynamics of the sound, and the tone."

(Kurier Szczeciński #30, February 12, 2001)

"Playing Saffi, Agnieszka Maciejewska sang with a strong and dramatic soprano, so dynamic it was almost perceived aggressive. Even so, she was able to uncover emotion in the love duet in act II."

(Glos Szczeciński, April 03, 2000)

"During the premier, the ladies were definitely on the top. Agnieszka Maciejewska playing Saffi sang great and acted well."

(Gazeta Wyborcza, April 03, 2000)

"Agnieszka Maciejewska was discovered by premiers. The audience remembers her well from the role of Hanna in Franz Lehar's "Merry Widow" directed by Adam Hanuszkiewicz. The role of her life, however, was the role of Saffi in "Der Zigeunerbaron"; she sang marvelously. Her great acting allowed for a suggestive persona of the Gypsy. The acting and the vocals were so good that the name should be changed from "Der Zigeunerbaron" to "Saffi".

(Szczecin, April 2000)

"… It was a very good idea to have Agnieszka Maciejewska sing the part of Glawari in act I and Isabella Turhan in act II. It was a shame that it was only a premier because, from the many scene innovations, my favorite hit was the "Lippen schweigen" from "Merry Widow" sang in a trio instead of a duet. The trio was made up from Maciejewska, Turham, and Zalasiński. They did it with amazing acting class but also with great humor."

(Gazeta na Pomorzu #39, February 16, 1999)

"Talking about the actors, we would like to applause the new and great addition to the Music Theater, Agnieszka Maciejewska as Madeleine. The actress has a great voice with clean and free high end as well as good acting ability. Her acting is different from the typical opera acting; it is more like drama acting."

(Łódź, October 24, 1995)

"The vocals of many opera singers are most disturbing. … with the exception of Angieszka Maciejewska, a graduate of the Academy of Music, who had a marvelous début."

(Słowo Polskie #123, Wrocław, May 27 1993)
